5136-PFB-PCI SST
ControlST integrates important data from the entire factory, including data from external systems, otherwise these data will be unavailable and presented in a meaningful environment, thereby reducing system costs.
Get the right information at the right time, engineers can more effectively analyze process trends and adjust control software, operators can respond to alarms and operational interruptions more quickly, and maintenance teams can identify problem areas, actively respond and keep processes online.

The ControlST software suite includes several high-performance tools:
WorkstationST * HMI and Historian communication software
ToolboxST * process configuration and diagnostic software for process, SIL, excitation, and power conversion
TrenderST * provides integrated real-time and historical data that combines SOE and alert points
Alarm Viewer provides alarm management in accordance with ISA 18.2
Other software packages for efficient plant-wide communication, monitoring, and asset management
Rotating exciter regulator
The Ex2100e product series includes both simplex and redundant automatic voltage regulator systems, typically used for smaller excitation currents. This solution is specifically designed to address all sizes of generators and incorporates all necessary controls, limitations, and protections to help ensure safe operation of the generator. This flexible excitation product can be customized to modify most configurations

static excitation system
For higher excitation currents, the EX2100e static excitation system based on thyristors has multiple configurations to choose from, providing flexibility and economically meeting excitation current requirements. Its control architecture adopts a combination of simplex configuration or redundancy (triple modular redundancy) configuration and converter redundancy (hot backup, n-1, n-2) to achieve maximum availability.
Renovation of generator control
To achieve the best transformation, GE provides a Digital Front End (DFE) as the control part of the excitation system, which is used to upgrade the existing excitation system using the latest control technology while retaining the existing power conversion part, minimizing costs and downtime.

Generator control panel
The excitation system can also be combined with synchronizers and generator protection to provide complete generator control.
High performance, intuitive software tools
EX2100e uses the ControlST * software suite. ControlST * software includes a variety of high-performance tools, making it easy for operators and maintenance personnel to use.
These include:
ToolboxST * application for configuration and diagnosis
WorkstationST * is used to manage HMI and Historian functions
CIMPLICITY * graphical user interface
Seamless integration provides direct connection from parameters on the operator screen to corresponding alarm history, trends, logic diagrams, observation windows, and browsers.

Advanced algorithms
The EX2100e excitation system provides highly advanced algorithms to address the challenges posed by fundamental changes in the power generation industry and improve the reliability of power generation assets.
Combined with static starter
For gas turbines, GE provides a combination kit of EX2100e excitation system and LS2100e static starter, both of which use the Mark VIe control system. This highly integrated solution provides efficient and reliable operation for gas turbines.
