YOKOGAWA AVR10D-Q22020
Product Description
The YOKOGAWA AVR10D – Q22020 is a crucial networking module designed to connect different automation systems within the YOKOGAWA ecosystem. It functions as a bus converter, establishing communication links between various stations across different networks.
Specifically, it connects Centum VP human interface stations (HISEs) on the Vnet/IP to Centum VP/Centum CS 3000/Centum CS stations on the V net, as well as Centum CS 1000 stations on the VL net in other domains. This enables seamless data transfer and integration between these systems, facilitating efficient industrial control and monitoring.
The “AVR10D” represents the base model of the router. The “Q2” in the model name denotes its support for dual – redundant V net (10Base – 2), which significantly enhances the reliability of the network connection. In case one network path fails, the redundant path can immediately take over, ensuring continuous data transmission. The second “2” indicates the presence of a dual power supply, further improving the module’s reliability and availability. This dual – power – supply feature is especially beneficial in industrial environments where uninterrupted operation is crucial.
Product Parameters
- Vnet/IP Side Communication:
- Communication Speed: 100 Mbps, with full – duplex operation. This high – speed communication allows for rapid data transfer between the Vnet/IP – connected devices and the router, enabling real – time control and monitoring.
- Connection: Utilizes UTP cable (Cat 5e or better) with an RJ45 connector. The use of Cat 5e or better cable ensures stable and reliable data transmission over the network.
- Interface: Complies with 100Base – TX standards, which is a widely – used and recognized standard for Ethernet – based communication.
- Max. Distance: The maximum distance between the AVR10D and the layer 2 switch is 100 m. This distance limitation is a common characteristic in Ethernet – based network setups and helps in maintaining the integrity of the data signal.
- V net Side Communication:
- Communication Speed: Operates at 10 Mbps. Although the speed is lower compared to the Vnet/IP side, it is suitable for the specific requirements of the V net and the devices connected to it.
