SCXI-1141

Product Description1

The SCXI – 1141 is a high – performance signal – conditioning module designed by National Instruments for data acquisition and control applications. It features eight low – pass elliptic filters and eight differential – input amplifiers, making it an ideal choice for anti – aliasing applications, as well as general – purpose signal amplification and filtering. It has an elliptic filter response, which is recommended for sharp filter roll – off. Each channel has a programmable gain with an input range of ±50 mV to ±5 V. The module uses a combination of analog filters and switched – capacitor filters, providing the versatility of 10,000 discrete software – programmable cut – off frequencies while maintaining the low – noise performance of traditional continuous – time active filters. It also has external clock input and output, allowing users to set the filter cut – off frequency with an external clock in tracking filter applications.

Product Parameters14

SCXI-1141

  1. Filter Parameters: It has 8 – order programmable filters. The cut – off frequency can be configured from 10 Hz to 25 kHz. All eight channels must be set to the same cut – off frequency, but users can programmatically bypass the low – pass filter for each channel. The attenuation rate is 135 dB / octave.
  2. Amplification Parameters: Each channel has a programmable gain, and the input range is ±50 mV to ±5 V.
  3. Sampling Rate: The maximum sampling rate is 333 kS / s (at any gain).
