Product Description
The PROSOFT MVI56 – MCM is a high – performance communication module designed for industrial automation systems. It serves as a bridge to enable seamless communication between Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix processors and other Modbus – protocol – compatible devices5. It can act as a Modbus master or slave, supporting both Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols. With its high – speed data transfer capability, it ensures efficient real – time communication and precise control over industrial processes. The module is easy to install and configure, coming with a sample ladder logic program and being able to be installed as a generic 1756 module5. It also allows users to view and monitor module data and status directly in the RSLogix 5000 controller’s tags, enhancing system visibility and control. In addition, it supports floating – point data movement, including support for Enron, Daniel®, and other implementations5.
