ABB IRB 2600 wall self drilling application
As a supplier of elevators and escalators,Xunda collaborated with ABB Robotics to launch a pilot project for the”Robot Elevator Installation System”and selected ABB IRB 2600 industrial robot for testing. The robot has an arm span of 1.65 meters and a payload of 29 kilograms. Its main task is to drill holes and install anchor bolts in the elevator shaft. This project includes an autonomous installation system, where IRB 2600 is installed on a temporary elevator that can move up and down in the elevator shaft, and is programmed to drill holes at the same coordinates with millimeter level accurac

ABB offline programming simulation software RobotStudio
ABB robots and ABB offline programming simulation software RobotStudio have achieved the goal of improving the speed and efficiency of steel structure manufacturing through experiments conducted by Sweden’s Skanka Construction Group. In recent years,Skanka has been committed to researching the use of robots to produce steel cages that assist in fixing concrete structures.ABB robots have been applied in the automated binding production of steel bars, reducing the production time of steel bar structures from 16 hours per ton to only 1 hour, significantly accelerating the project schedule. In addition,on-site manufacturing of steel structures using robots within Sweden can reduce transportation and related pollution.

ABB robot customized production reduces energy consumption
The ductility and processability of wood make it very suitable for robot automation, without causing too much loss.Canadian Smart City Company collaborates with ABB robots to process, transport, and assemble large pieces of wood on prefabricated production lines.Robots work in workstations and produce wood components according to the design built in Intelligent City’s platform(P4L)design software, enabling the construction of customized structures according to customer specific requirements.ABB’s offline programming software RobotStudio can also be used in conjunction with the P4L platform to plan tasks and actions for ABB robots.
