The ABB REG670 module is a digital protective relay from ABB. It is designed for the protection, monitoring and control of generators, prime movers and boost transformers.

The REG670 module has the following functions:

Generator main protection: Can detect and isolate a variety of faults in the generator, including single-phase, two-phase, three-phase faults, ground faults, overload faults and loss of magnetism faults.
Prime mover main protection: can detect and isolate all kinds of faults in the prime mover, including single phase, two phase, three phase fault, ground fault, overload fault and loss of magnetism fault.
Boost transformer protection: Detects and isolates a wide range of faults in boost transformers, including single-phase, two-phase, three-phase faults, ground faults, overload faults, and short-circuit faults.
Fault diagnosis: Provides fault diagnosis information to help you quickly locate the fault.
