ABB RED670 module is an intelligent microcomputer protection device designed for the protection, monitoring and control of overhead lines and cables. It can protect up to 5 terminals of the branch line.

The split-phase line differential protection in RED670 enables reliable single-phase/two-phase/three-phase tripping and automatic reclosing (with synchronous and simultaneous checking functions).

Powerful and scalable input/output capabilities, RED670 features a variety of algorithms and complete interval control features such as synchronization, simultaneous detection, no voltage detection and automatic reclosing in centralized and distributed system architectures to benefit your applications.

RED670 has a powerful interlocking function to avoid potentially dangerous or hazardous switchgear operation and ensure personal safety.
