The PLC system has strict grounding requirements,with independent***earthing system,and other equipment related to PLC should also be reliably grounded.When multiple circuit grounding points are connected together,unexpected currents can be generated,leading to logic errors or circuit damage.
The reason for generating different grounding potentials is usually due to the grounding point being separated too far in the physical area.When devices that are far apart are connected together by communication cables or sensors,the current between the cable and the ground will flow through the entire circuit.Even within a short distance,the load current of large equipment can change between it and the ground potential,Alternatively,unpredictable currents can be directly generated through electromagnetic effects.

Between power sources with incorrect grounding points,there is a possibility of generating destructive current in the circuit,leading to equipment damage.
The PLC system generally adopts a single point grounding method.In order to improve the ability to resist common mode interference,floating ground technology can be used for analog signals,which means that the layer of the signal cable is grounded at one point,the signal circuit is floating,and the insulation resistance with the ground should not be less than 50MΩ

Removing capacitance between wires to avoid misoperation
There is capacitance between the wires of the cable,and qualified cables can limit this capacitance value to a certain range.Even for qualified cables,when the cable length exceeds a certain length,the capacitance value between each line will also exceed the required value.When using this cable for PLC input,the capacitance between the lines may cause PLC malfunction,leading to many incomprehensible phenomena.

These phenomena are mainly manifested as:the wiring is correct,but the PLC does not input;PLC should have inputs that are not present,but should not have inputs that interfere with each other.To address this issue,it is necessary to:
1.Cables twisted together using cable cores;
2.Try to shorten the length of cables used as much as possible;
3.Separate the mutually interfering inputs and use cables;
