125800-01
Product Name
125800 – 01 Keyphasor I/O Module
Product Description
The 125800 – 01 is a Keyphasor I/O module developed by Bently Nevada, which is an integral part of the 3500/25 enhanced keyphasor module system. It plays a crucial role in the state monitoring of rotating machinery.
This half – height, two – channel module is designed to receive keyphasor signals. It uses magnetic pickups or proximity probes to detect when the keyphasor mark on the shaft aligns with the keyphasor transducer. Once detected, it converts the input analog signals into digital keyphasor signals. These digital signals are then transmitted to the monitor modules in a 3500 rack.
In a power generation plant, for example, in a steam turbine system, the 125800 – 01 module can accurately capture the keyphasor signals related to the rotation of the turbine shaft. This information is essential for determining the shaft’s rotational speed, phase, and reference position. By providing precise timing identification, it enables 3500 monitor modules and external diagnostic tools to measure vector characteristics such as 1x vibration amplitude and phase, which are vital for assessing the health and performance of the rotating machinery.
The enhanced keyphasor module, of which 125800 – 01 is a part, not only improves the keyphasor signal processing capabilities compared to previous designs but also maintains full backward compatibility in terms of shape, fit, and functionality. This ensures its usability in older systems without the need for major modifications.
