MOTOROLA MVME2432

MOTOROLA MVME2432

  1. Product NameMotorola MVME2432 VMEbus Processor Module
  2. Product DescriptionThe MVME2432 is a high-performance VMEbus processor module under Motorola’s MVME2400 series, developed based on the 32-bit PowerPC 750 microprocessor. Launched in 1995, it is specifically designed for high-performance embedded computing applications and has been widely applied in industrial automation, telecommunications equipment, medical imaging devices, and even military and aerospace systems.
It integrates a well – matched cache and memory subsystem, with ECC SDRAM that effectively avoids data errors, which is crucial for data processing in critical application scenarios. The module is equipped with multiple common interfaces such as Ethernet and serial ports, and also has two 32/64-bit PMC expansion slots, enabling flexible connection with various peripheral devices and functional modules. This design not only facilitates system expansion but also simplifies later maintenance.
Though it has been discontinued, its industrial – grade reliable design allows it to still operate stably in many legacy embedded systems, and it is often available through specialized industrial component suppliers or second – hand equipment channels.
