Product DescriptionThe GE IC697CPX928 is a core CPU module tailored for the GE Fanuc Series 90 – 70 PLC systems, mainly developed to handle complex control tasks in industrial automation scenarios. It is built with an 80486DX4 microprocessor running at 96 MHz, and it achieves a fast scan rate of 0.4 microseconds per boolean function, which ensures efficient execution of user – programmed logic and real – time response to industrial on – site signals.This single – slot module integrates multiple practical features to meet industrial application needs. It is equipped with 6 MB of lithium battery – backed RAM for storing program and user data, and 256 KB of non – volatile user flash memory for storing CPU firmware. It comes with three built – in serial ports (1 RS232 and 2 RS485) along with a factory reset port, facilitating communication with various external devices and system debugging. There is no need for hardware configuration via dip switches or jumpers; instead, it can be programmed through software on MS – DOS, Windows 95, or Windows NT systems.The module is highly compatible with a wide range of optional modules, including Ethernet interface modules, coprocessors, bus controllers, and a full range of IC697 discrete and analog I/O modules. This expandability enables it to adapt to diverse industrial control requirements.
