  2. Product DescriptionThe WOODWARD 9907 – 1183 is a core component belonging to the 505E turbine control series. Equipped with a 32 – bit microcontroller, it is specially designed to control various turbines, including industrial – scale standard steam turbines, utility turbogenerators and turboexpanders. It can be flexibly configured as a standalone device or work in coordination with the distributed control system (DCS) of industrial plants.
    This module has a PID structure, which is very suitable for monitoring and controlling key parameters of turbines, such as speed, load, inlet pressure, exhaust header pressure, and extraction/admission header pressure. By means of 4 – 20 mA transducers as well as PID and ratio/limiter functions, it can accurately control the extraction and admission of steam turbines and prevent the turbines from operating beyond the safe parameter range.
    It can be equipped with an optional NEMA 4X grade protective casing, which is waterproof and dust – proof, effectively protecting the internal electromechanical components from permanent damage and enabling the module to operate stably in harsh outdoor and industrial environments. In addition, it is featured with password protection and zero – speed detection functions, and supports seamless integration with industrial control systems, which simplifies the upgrading and maintenance process of the whole control system. It is widely used in power generation, petrochemical, marine and metallurgical fields.
