The GE IC200GBI001 is a Genius Network Interface Unit (NIU) designed for GE Fanuc VersaMax series industrial automation systems. It serves as a controller for up to eight I/O modules per rack and supports up to eight racks, enabling integration of up to 64 I/O modules. This module provides communication between controllers and I/O modules via the Genius protocol, widely used in control and monitoring solutions such as gas turbine control systems and complex process automation. It supports redundancy, high-speed data transmission, and extensive I/O capabilities, making it suitable for large-scale, safety-critical industrial environments.
