KUKA KCP2

The KCP2 supports multiple programming languages and control modes, catering to different application requirements. It can be used to program robots for a wide range of tasks, from simple pick – and – place operations in manufacturing lines to complex assembly and handling tasks in industries such as automotive manufacturing, electronics production, and logistics. With its comprehensive set of input controls, including buttons, joysticks, and touch – screen gestures, operators can accurately manipulate the robot’s movements, set parameters, and initiate various robotic functions.
In terms of connectivity, the KCP2 is equipped with 2 USB interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. These interfaces facilitate data transfer, software updates, and connection to external devices such as storage media for program backup and transfer. The Ethernet interface also enables seamless communication with the robot controller and other components within the industrial network, allowing for remote monitoring and control in some scenarios.
The module is designed to be robust and durable, suitable for use in industrial environments. It has a protective housing with an IP54 protection rating, which provides protection against dust and splashing water, ensuring reliable operation even in less – than – ideal working conditions.
