The OMRON H3CR – A8E is a highly versatile solid – state multi – functional timer, specifically designed for various industrial and automation applications. It serves as a reliable component for precise time – based control in manufacturing processes, machinery operation, and other industrial scenarios.
This timer features 8 pins and offers a wide time – setting range from 0.05 seconds to 300 hours, covering a broad spectrum of time – delay requirements. It has two changeover relays as control outputs, including both time – limit and instantaneous outputs. The time – limit output has an SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) configuration, and so does the instantaneous output. This enables it to perform functions such as on – delay, flicker – off start, flicker – on start, interval control, and one – shot output, providing great flexibility in different control sequences.
In industrial settings, for example, in a conveyor belt system, the H3CR – A8E can be used to control the start and stop times of the conveyor at specific intervals. In a lighting control system within a factory, it can be set to turn on the lights after a certain time delay or operate them in an interval – based pattern.
