The ABB CI854A is a high – performance communication interface module, purpose – built for industrial automation scenarios. Its primary function is to enable seamless connection between remote I/O systems and fieldbus instruments through the Profibus DP protocol. This module is a crucial component in integrating systems such as the S800 I/O and other Profibus DP/DP – V1 and Foundation Fieldbus networks.
